In Pics – Ranbir Kapoor Reveals the Music CD of ‘Rockstar’ to Lord Ganesha

Ranbir Kapoor has revealed the music CD of ‘Rockstar‘ to Lord Ganesha. The actor along with director Imtiaz Ali visited the big Ganesh Idol at RK Studios on Chembur on Sunday morning to seek his blessings for the release of their forthcoming film ‘Rockstar’ and placed the music CD of the film on Lord Ganesha’s feet.

Later Ranbir Kapoor accompanied by his father Rishi Kapoor and uncles Rajiv Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor participated in the procession of Ganpati visarjan, and were seen dancing and singing Ganpati Morya.

At the pandal, the actor – director duo along with Hiren Gandhi did the Ganesh Aarti, after which they posed for the shutterbugs. Then they addressed to the media in a separate room where they spoke to the media people about the movie – what it’s about, their experience of working together, the music of the film, and many other things.

Ranbir was looking no different than a Rockstar; he was sporting a black head band, teamed with kurta-pyjama.

Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision and Eros International, ‘Rockstar‘ revolves around the journey of a Delhi boy, played by Ranbir, who resents the fact that he has no pain in his life. He has realized that all great Musicians have had a painful life. In order to get his heart broken, he proposes to the most sought-after girl, essayed by Nargis Fakhri, in Delhi University.

The story of ‘ Rockstar ‘ is the seven years of the boy’s life and relationship with the girl at the end of which he does become a huge musical star, but his heart also gets broken…

The music of the film is by AR Rahman. ‘Rockstar’ will hit the theatres on 11.11.11.
