There is no denying that Madhuri Dixit still rules hearts of public. It was evident when ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4’ became a hit piggybacking on Madhuri’s charisma.
Ever since her return, Madhuri has been making lot of news but what no one even imagined her giving a tough fight to reigning megastars of Bollywood.
Madhuri is one of the judges of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. Her co-judges are Malaika Arora and choreographer Remo D’Souza. While previous seasons got lukewarm response, this was different. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 became a hit which is attributed to the presence of Madhuri.
Latest viewership ratings have revealed that Madhuri Dixit notched up impressive number of telly viewers surpassing even Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan.
While, 5.6% of viewers watched opening day show of Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa 4, Amitabh could only muster 4% viewers.
Shahrukh fared poorly by just garnering 2.6% viewership.
What makes these figures startling is that Madhuri is being paid a lot less than these 2 biggies and yet, has proved that she is second to none when it comes to capturing a whole nation’s imagination.
It must be quite a humbling experience for Big B and Shahrukh!
