Salman Khan’s Bodyguard collects Rs 110 crore in first four days

It’s remarkable, outstanding. Salman Khan himself couldn’t believe the kind of response his film Bodyguard is receiving from the masses in India and abroad. The movie smashes all records to collect the Rs 11 crore in first four days.

This Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer has broken the record of the Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha movie Dabangg in just five days after its release.

Kareena is on cloud nine. She is ecstatic and don’t has words to express her joy. The actress says, “I have three films on the list of the six highest grossing films in Hindi cinema. Bodyguard, 3-Idiots and Golmaal-3. I’m ecstatic.”

On its opening day, Bodyguard broke the first-day collection record by touching the Rs. 20 crore mark, outshining the opening day collection of Salman’s last year’s hit ‘Dabangg’. Now, Bodyguard boasts of a record of the best ever weekend for any Hindi film.

The movie has collected about Rs. 86 crore in the first four days. And if we take in consideration its collections from abroad, the figure easily surpasses the Rs. 100 crore mark. This is way above the first week collections of Dabangg (Rs. 81 crore) and 3 Idiots (Rs. 80 crore).

However, the critics have given thumbs down to the film.
