Sonakshi Sinha to romance Ranveer Singh in the film ‘Lootera’

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to romance her dream date Ranveer Singh in the upcoming film ‘Lootera‘. The couple yesterday launched the film amidst much funfare. Sonakshi will play the role of a traditional Bengali woman in the film and thus was seen dressed in a traditional sari with gold zari border. Ranveer too was dressed like the character.

The movie is going to be produced by Phantom Films which is a new production house made by Anurag Kashyap (Dev.D), Vikramaditya Motwane (Udaan), Vikas Bahl (Chillar Party) and Madhu Mantena (Ghajini). Together they announced their first film, Lootera, to be directed by Motwane, starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. It is a love story set in the 1950s and Motwane insists that it’s a commercial project.
