Great news for all yea music lovers. Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor and music maestro AR Rahman will perform live. The duo announced Rockstar concert at a press meet.

Ranbir Kapoor and AR Rahman will be performing at the ‘Rockstar‘ concert to be held on 1st November at Bhavan’s College ground in Mumbai. Director Imtiaz Ali tells reporters about this marketing gig: “Since the film is a story of a performer, having a live concert was always on agenda…it was required. It was gala night with the who’s who of B-town in attendance. Beauties like Anushka Sharma to Deepika Padukone all were present at the event. It was also a delight to watch the sensuous Freida Pinto at the awards night.

GQ India’s Men of the Year Awards honored outstanding Indian achievers of 2011. In the third year of the awards, GQ honoured 15 men and 2 women. The event was hosted by Vir Das. Gauri Khan and Shahrukh Khan were present, Sidhartha Mallya was snapped alongside Deepika Padukone, Leander Paes, Yuvraj Singh, Bhaichung Bhutia, Avantika Malik-Imran Khan, and also A R Rahman was seen at the event.

Ranbir Kapoor launches ‘Rockstar’ music at Hazrat Nizamuddin dargah

The ‘Rockstar‘ team visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin to seek blessings. Actor Ranbir Kapoor and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali along with singer Mohit Chauhan were present at the Hazrat Nizamuddin dargah. Not only this, Ranbir Kapoor even sang a qawalli at dargah, playing the guitar too.

The team of “Rockstar” prays and sings at Dargah Hazrat Nizammudin in New Delhi.

Singer Mohit Chauhan, who is the voice of Jordan, Ranbir’s character in the musical film, also accompanied the duo, along with producer Hiren Gandhi of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd.
