Though the fashion fest was held at Delhi, far away from the B-town, Bollywood stars didn’t miss a chance to shine there. The five-day long fashion extravaganza came to an end on Monday with Rohit Bal showing his Shanti collection and Arjun Rampal walking the ramp for him.

The first day of Synergy1 Couture Week saw Madhuri Dixit as special guest. The third day turned out to be the most happening one as Sonakshi Sinha took the ramp for Shantanu & Nikhil while Sonam Kapoor did the catwalk for Manish Malhotra. Other showstopper who did wonders at the ramp was the effervescent Sharmila Tagore.

Bollywood’s ace choreographer Ganesh Hegde married girlfriend, also his stylist, Sunayna Shetty on June 5. Later the choreographer threw a lavish wedding reception and invited the who’s who of B-town. So, who all were there? Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra (who has worked in his album), Shilpa Shetty and many more celebs.

Priyanka looked lovely in a peach-coloured Manish Malhotra sari while Shilpa Shetty chose a bright orange salwar suit with heavy work. Sari was also the call of the day for actress-singer Sophie Choudry. Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan dressed dapperly in suit for the party.

A host of stars were seen the launch of D-7 Store. Many Bollywood  stars and models made their presence felt at the event. Seen were Vivek Oberoi, Arjun Rampal, Zayed Khan, Dia Mirza, Fardeen Khan, Candice Pinto, Sophie Choudry and Dino Morea.

Seeing so many out-of-sight, out-of-favor, and out-of-flavor actors at the event, a less knowledgeable person could have mistaken it as  a glamorous job employment exchange office for C-listers.
